5 Years in the age of internet is a long long time. And nowhere is this evident more than in Social Media scenario. Social Media actions such as likes, tweets, photo/video uploads and other user generated contents are now counted in fraction of seconds. More than 3.8 billion users were reported to be on Social Media sites in 2013 and this figure keeps increasing day by day. Here’s an interesting infographic from HootSuite of what has changed in Social media in last five years.

After crossing two million active advertisers on its platform, Facebook has now released its ads manager app to make advertising much easier.  The company made the announcement of the app on its business page shortly after the app was available to download on the Apple app store today. How Social Networks Are Making Us Lonely?

We’ve got hundreds of friends and followers on social networks like Facebook and Twitter ? We can share our thoughts to so many people at the click of a button. It looks like we’ve got a plenty of folks who care about us. But do they truly care about us? There have been several research findings which suggest that the social networks are making us lonely, in reality. But none of them have beautifully executed the thought as done by the following animated clip titled “The Innovation of Loneliness”.
